Electrical Construction Supervisor

UNS is looking for an exceptional Electrical Construction Supervisor on a Full-time basis to join our team at Dandenong South, reporting to the Construction Manager. Daily you will be supervising crews across multiple asset owners network projects and maintenance activities across the whole of Victoria.


Role and Responsibility

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business such as;

    • Ensures the 4 week firm work program is achieved in the field

    • Ensure projects are completed within project manhours allocation

    • Ensure the performed work is at the required level of quality & timeliness

    • Arranging purchase orders for materials, booking and management of subcontractors

    • Documenting/reporting the number of absenteeism within crew

  • Undertaking field, fleet and project audits

  • Weekly timesheet approval to ensure correct cost allocation

  • Work closely with Ops Planners & Team Leaders to ensure efficient outages occur



Essential Skills

  • Demonstrated work scheduling skills

  • Proven Leadership and Delegation skills

  • Time Management

  • Good communications skills

  • Understanding and experience in industry relevant to the role


Desirable

  • Qualification in Project Management or equivalent

  • Able to utilise Microsoft office suite (Outlook & excel)

  • Previous experience in HV operating and applications

  • High Risk Work Licence

    • - Dogging (DG) with VESI Rigging Exemption

    • - (WP) Elevated Work Platform

  • Heavy Vehicle Licence
